Meet our band instrument instructor...Deborah Morse



Professional Summary

Deborah Morse is a Creative Instrumental Elementary and Middle School teacher within the Hartford Archdiocese. She is a music teacher accomplished in designing and implementing diverse music lessons for students 3rd - 8th grade. Deborah is a dedicated and passionate professional with 34 years experience teaching instrument lessons and conducting band. She has in depth knowledge of instructional theories and practices. She can teach and perform on all wind instruments and percussion.

Work History

Deborah Morse is currently a paraprofessional at the Windsor High School (October 2022 - present). She was also a music teacher from September 1987 to September 2022.


CT Future Musicians, LLC - West Hartford, CT

Deborah familiarized students with basic concepts of music such as notes, tempos, symphony, beats, compositions, and chords. She mentored struggling students with individualized approach to enhance learning. She planned and executed targeted lesson plans to instruct on music theory, music history and performance etiquette. She advised parents of student progress by communicating student's achievements and developing methods for improvements.


Deborah Morse has been a Private Music Teacher from May 2021 until currently.


Windsor Music Centre - Windsor, CT

Morse plans and prepares individual music lessons to support student needs. She explains music theory, aural skills, and fundamental concepts to teach students to understand, analyze, perform and create music. She arranges performance recitals and concerts to allow students to showcase musical talents. She teaches private and semi-private lessons using [Type] curriculum and cover song arrangements.
